Welcome to the Daigneault Team blog. Here you will find the nightly homework assignments, along with important dates and test/quiz/project information! This blog is not in place of student agendas. Students should be writing their assignments down at the beginning of each class period. However please use this blog to verify/clarify assignments.

Extra Help Days: Teachers will be after on the following days for extra help. If a student cannot make that extra help session and would like to meet with the teacher, they should make arrangements with that teacher in advance.

Adv. Math: Math Humor Worksheet - Why Doesn't Orgo...(p. C-60) Did You Hear About...(p. C-61) and study for your quiz tomorrow - multiplying fractions.

English: Complete the Esperanza Rising new word map and read the news article, Homeless find Solace in Yam Work. Have 10 index cards for Monday.

Social Studies: Students are continuing to work on their group Campaign poster. Groups assigned homework based on what they needed to finish their projects by the end of class tomorrow.

Science: Fools Gold Lab Report is due on Monday, 12/20. Friday, 12/17, will be the last day Mrs. Malone will be available to help students after school. If you didn't turn in the Density worksheet that was due today, you have a one day extension.

English: Study for the Vocab Quiz tomorrow. Finish reading Los Higos (figs) in Esperanza Risting.

Science: Mrs. Malone will be available after school Tuesday-Friday (12/14-12/17) to help with lab reports and a laptop cart will be available. For tonight:
1. What are you doing to work on your Fools Gold Lab report tonight? Checking your calculations? Making sure all writing is in full sentences? Have you listed all the materials? Are you avoiding the Nakey Number stamp?
2. Human Density swimmers be ready for tomorrow. In a plastic bag put your flip flops, bathing suits, towel and T-shirt.
3. Party planners be ready for the Density party tomorrow: napkins, plates, cups, healthy food. Enough for 24 people.

English: Reread Las Papayas in Esperanza Rising and come to class prepared to discuss it on Monday in class.

Science: Fools Gold Lab Report these components must be done before you can determine the density of the chain and comparison cubes: Introduction, background information, materials, and procedure. You might want to bring your flash drive to class on Monday.

**Science Announcement: Lap top cart for lab report will be available after school on 12/14-12/17. Also, get ready for Human Density Day on Wed. 12/15. Remember no nuts, strawberries, oranges, or raw pineapple. Each homeroom needs to organize food, drinks, cups, plates, and napkins.
