Welcome to the Daigneault Team blog. Here you will find the nightly homework assignments, along with important dates and test/quiz/project information! This blog is not in place of student agendas. Students should be writing their assignments down at the beginning of each class period. However please use this blog to verify/clarify assignments.

Extra Help Days: Teachers will be after on the following days for extra help. If a student cannot make that extra help session and would like to meet with the teacher, they should make arrangements with that teacher in advance.

2. Human Density swimmers be ready for tomorrow. In a plastic bag put your flip flops, bathing suits, towel and T-shirt.
3. Party planners be ready for the Density party tomorrow: napkins, plates, cups, healthy food. Enough for 24 people.

Math: Complete Problem 3.3 and Problem 3.4 making tables to show all possibilities for the factor problems.

Adv. Math: With a ruler make a coordinate graph on the grid paper. The graph must have a title, and the axes must have labels. Label the "origin" 130 (determined by the shortest height). Then draw the vertical and horizontal lines at each intersection. Number by twos in the x-axis and y-axis. Do not put any data in the graph.

English: Answer the following prompt: What does freedom mean to you? Your response should be in paragraph form with a minimum of eight sentences. Answer the question, explain your answer and support it iwth details. It can be in the form of a poem but not a haiku or an acrostic.

Science: Get your Gel Capsule Lab report signed by Friday. Sci News #2 due on or before Friday, 11/19.

Social Studies: Due Friday: Visualization drawing of a scene from the short reading about prehistoric life read in class today. Students are asked to fill one side of the entire notecard with the scene and use color (color pencils/crayons only).

English: Complete the graphic organizer regarding the theme of The All American Slurp, the short story being read in class. Fill in thoroughly using textual evidence from the story to support your answers. This assignment is due on Thursday. Vocab Unit Three Quiz next Friday, October 15th.

Science: Figure out who your partner will be from your homeroom for the Gel Capsule Lab. You should work with someone who lives close to your neighborhood or is available to stay after school to work on writing the lab report.

Science: Same as Friday with nature journal. But if you didn't finish the lab today in class, then please calculate your average and answer the one conclusion question in your lab notebook.

Social Studies: Due Wednesday(9/29) - Get your Geography tests signed and complete vocab cards for Lesson 1 (pages 51-54). Students should have one notecard per word. They should put the word and a sketch of the word on one side, definition and page number on the other side of the notecard. (7 notecards in total).

Please do not write your name on the book sock material as the marker bleeds thru to the outside of the book causing book damage.

Social Studies: Students should complete their study-guide for their first social studies test on Geography. They were instructed to put each key topic on a note-card. They should have 8 note-cards for the Key Terms/People, and 9 note-cards for the Atlas Section. (7 continents, 4 oceans, physical map, political map, thematic map, cardinal and inter-cardinal directions, table of contents, index, alphanumeric grid location).
